Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Ordering & Shipping
How does shipping work?
All orders ship factory-direct via freight carrier. Most fire tables, fireplaces, and pizza ovens are large enough that they require freight delivery rather than standard parcel shipping. Your order will be scheduled for a delivery appointment — the carrier will call to confirm a delivery window. Freight delivery is curbside unless a white-glove upgrade is available for your item.
How long does delivery take?
Lead times vary by product and manufacturer. Most in-stock items ship within 3–7 business days and arrive within 2–3 weeks depending on your location. Some items are built to order and may have longer lead times. Estimated lead times are listed on each product page. If you need a specific delivery date, contact us before ordering.
Do you ship outside the contiguous United States?
At this time, we ship within the contiguous US only. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally.
Is shipping free?
Yes. Shipping is included on all orders to the contiguous United States.

What is GFRC and why is it used for fire tables?
GFRC stands for Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete. It's a composite material made from Portland cement, fine aggregates, and alkali-resistant glass fibers. The glass fibers significantly increase tensile strength compared to standard concrete, which makes GFRC more crack-resistant and suitable for large flat forms like fire table tops. GFRC is also substantially lighter than poured concrete while maintaining the same aesthetic. It's the material used in high-end architectural applications and the right choice for outdoor fire features that are meant to last.
Do fire tables run on natural gas or propane?
Most fire tables in our lineup are available in both natural gas and liquid propane configurations. Some are propane-only. The fuel type is listed on each product page. Natural gas models require a permanent gas line connection. Propane models connect to a standard 20lb tank, which typically stores underneath the table.
Can fire tables be used under a covered patio or pergola?
Many can, but not all. Covered use requires a minimum clearance height (typically 80–96" from the burner to the overhead structure, though some units require more) and adequate ventilation. Check the specific clearance requirements in your product's documentation before installing under any overhead structure. Never use a gas fire feature in an enclosed or poorly-ventilated space.
How much BTU output do I need?
For most residential patios and standard 4–6 person seating groups, 60,000–80,000 BTU is the right range. It provides real warmth on cool evenings and an attractive flame height without making close seating uncomfortable. Higher output (80,000–100,000+ BTU) is appropriate for larger spaces or cold climates. See our fire table sizing guide for a full breakdown.
What size fire table do I need for my patio?
The right size depends on your patio square footage and seating configuration. As a general rule: 30–40" for small patios with 2–4 seats, 40–48" for medium patios with 4–6 seats, and 50"+ for larger spaces. Our sizing guide covers this in detail.
Do gas fire tables produce real heat?
Yes. A quality fire table in the 60,000–80,000 BTU range produces meaningful warmth — enough to comfortably extend outdoor use into cooler temperatures. The heat output is real and functional, not purely decorative.
What's the difference between gas and wood-fired pizza ovens?
Gas ovens heat faster (15–25 minutes vs. 60–90 minutes for wood), are easier to control, and are more consistent cook-to-cook. Wood-fired ovens add smoke flavor complexity that gas cannot replicate and are the traditional choice for Neapolitan-style pizza. Both can reach the temperatures required for excellent pizza. See our full comparison: Gas vs. Wood-Fired Pizza Ovens.
Returns & Warranty
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Some items (built-to-order, special order) are non-returnable. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.
Are the products warrantied?
Yes. All products we carry are backed by manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by brand and product category — they're listed on each product page. Fire tables and fireplaces typically carry 1–3 year warranties on burner components and finish.
